Meet Dr. Daniel Knowles, DC

Dr. Daniel KnowlesDr. Daniel “Danny” Knowles has spent almost 30 years helping people rethink what health can look like when the nervous system is given the chance to reorganize and respond. His style is steady and direct, with a calm presence that helps practice members feel at ease, even if they are walking in carrying a lot. He brings deep clinical experience to each visit, along with a perspective shaped by teaching, research, and long-term leadership in the chiropractic profession.

Dr. Daniel earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic, where he received the Clinical Excellence Award. Before that, he graduated with honors from New York University. That blend of academic training and real-world experience still shapes how he works today, curious, disciplined, and focused on what helps people move forward.

Decades of Practice Experience and a Clear Philosophy

Dr. Daniel has been in private practice since 1997 and founded Network Wellness Center in Boulder in 1999. His work is centered on NetworkSpinal care, with advanced training, specialization, and proficiency in this treatment method. He is also a Total Solution Surface EMG graduate and holds National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (Parts I-IV) credentials.

If you are the type who wants a “why” behind what you are feeling, you will likely appreciate how Dr. Daniel explains patterns in a practical way. Many people arrive feeling like their body is stuck, like it is trying hard but not adapting well. His approach helps people notice what their nervous system is doing, how stress and posture can show up in daily life, and how the body may begin to reorganize with care over time.

Research, Publications, and Professional Credibility

Dr. Daniel has contributed to multiple peer-reviewed publications, including work exploring heart rate variability outcomes and quality-of-life measures connected to chiropractic care. Research matters because it keeps the profession honest. It asks better questions, tracks results, and helps clinicians stay sharp. He has also presented at professional and academic events across the United States, including chiropractic college forums. Teaching is not a side project for Dr. Daniel; it is part of how he gives back and helps strengthen the profession’s standards.

Teaching, Events, and Life Beyond the Office

Dr. Daniel serves as International Director of NetworkSpinal for EpiEnergetics and has taught NetworkSpinal programs for many years, guiding chiropractors nationally and internationally. He has also mentored chiropractors through leadership and practice development work, helping them build consistent systems and values-driven practices.

He is the founder of the Mile High Chiro Movement and has led major events focused on chiropractic philosophy, leadership, and community. He also hosted the Mile High Podcast for years, creating conversations that encouraged more grounded, intentional approaches to health and life.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Daniel enjoys Colorado’s outdoor lifestyle, hiking and biking whenever he can, and spending time with his wife, Dr. Richelle Knowles, and their two children.
