What Do I Need to Know Before My Evaluation?

After your complimentary consultation, you may choose to move forward with a complete NeuroStructural evaluation. Evaluation spaces are always available after a consultation if you choose to move forward. They can also be scheduled at a later date if you would choose to do so. There’s no obligation, and the decision is up to you. Service to you and your access to the highest quality of care available is the goal.

Your NeuroStructural evaluation is comprehensive. People often comment that this is the most thorough evaluation they have ever had in a chiropractor’s office. For this reason, please plan no less than an hour for this evaluation, so you are not rushed.

Some of the evaluation procedures that you may receive include:

  • NeuroBehavior Computerized Evaluation
  • NeuroThermal Computerized Evaluation
  • Bilateral Structural Assessment
  • Computerized postural imaging
  • Digital structural radiographs
  • NeuroPulse: Heart rate variability and Galvanic Skin Nerve Stress Response
  • Facilitative pattern palpation, motion palpation
  • Flexion & lateral flexion adverse cord and connective tissue assessment.

This unique Complete NeuroStructural Evaluation is designed to assess spinal and neural integrity, as well as the triad of your spinal structure, neural behavior and somatic perceptions. This also allows you to have a complete understanding of your concerns and what solutions would be appropriate for you.

Advanced, Focused Technology

Posture Analysis and Movement Screening

You can add another layer of clarity to your evaluation with the Network Wellness Center posture analysis system, especially if your discomfort seems to “move around” or show up during work, workouts, or long drives. Using computer vision-based imaging, your measurable posture patterns are captured and, when appropriate, basic range-of-motion and movement findings, are translated into easy-to-understand reports.

This matters because posture is rarely just about standing up straight. It’s how your body balances day-to-day: head position over shoulders, shoulder and hip alignment, and the small compensations that can accumulate over time. When those patterns clearly seen, you can receive an explanation from your chiropractor about what they mean, track changes over visits, and connect the dots between your habits and how your spine is handling stress.

I found them at a conference that they host every year and I had seen several chiros before but these were they first ones that ever did scans. So far I have one x ray that summarizes whats going on with my spine in a way that no one’s ever been able to do before. I am grateful to know what’s going on. So I would say my
results are optimism, trust, and hope. I’ve chatted with a few people who are currently under care, and they’ve let me know that the best is still yet to come! I love the smiling faces I see when I come in!Katie J.

We came to NWC because we met Dr Jeff and he had recommended it to us! So far, both of our scans show improvement! We’ve committed and invested, so we continue to look forward to seeing what’s in store! Care here is fun and helpful. We love the friendly and amazing staff!Fiona & Bruce

Nerves work by generating minuscule electrical pulses that travel up and down the central nervous system, carrying messages from the brain to all of the organs in the body. Any disruption or distortion in the spine nerve system will result in an alteration of that electrical impulse, making it either too powerful or too weak. A non-invasive procedure, surface EMG imaging, allows our chiropractors to get a clear picture of how well and effectively those electrical pulses are being transmitted so that we can then determine the areas of greatest subluxation.

Like the surface EMG, the thermal scan is a non-invasive imaging procedure that takes a close measurement of the temperature along your spine. When spinal subluxations are present and the nervous system is not functioning optimally, there are resultant changes in blood flow, which are reflected in temperature changes. Mapping the temperature fluctuations along the spine gives our chiropractors a clear understanding of the areas of greatest subluxation along the spine.

The Core Score generates a score based on a number of tests, including heart rate variability, muscle tone and balance. The closer your score is to 100, the better overall health you’re in. This score is based on five different things, including:

Heart Rate Variability: As you go through your day, your heart rate fluctuates in response to natural stimuli. However, if you are under a lot of stress and in poor physical health, these variations in heart rate tend to be low, indicating that your body is in fight-or-flight response mode. Chiropractic techniques can help bring your low heart rate variability number back up through care plans that aim to remedy the pain and stresses that are affecting your heart and overall health.

Muscle Tone and Balance: The more tired your muscles are, the less able they are to function effectively. The surface EMG provides an image of the condition of your muscles and how much energy you need to function. The more energy you need, the lower your core score, indicating that your overall state of health is compromised.

Range of Motion: The way in which your spine moves is tested, giving us a clear indication of your spine’s effectiveness in terms of movement and your overall range of motion. A low range of motion results in a low core score.

Organ and Gland Control: The thermal imaging scan that we run as part of our analytical kit gives us a picture of the temperature fluctuations along your spine. These changes in temperature are closely tied in to the effective functioning of all organs, as they affect the nerves that transmit messages to all of your organs and bodily systems.

Aggravated and Inflamed Areas: Our specialized imaging systems map out the areas in your body of greatest stress and pain. By focusing on alleviating the stress in these areas, we can improve your core score and thus, your overall sense of good health, happiness, and well-being. Our Insight Millennium Subluxation Station allows you to actually see where your subluxations are and get a snapshot of your spinal health. Your core score is the best indicator of your state of health – the closer it is to 100, the closer you are to your optimal fitness level. Regular scans over the course of your care plan allow you and your chiropractor to see how well it is working to resolve your issues and determine if your care plan needs to be adjusted. Your core score is always available to you on our mobile app, so you can be as proactive in your care plan as you want to be.

We also perform digital X-Rays, when needed, to determine the areas along your spine and nerve system to assess the integrity and alignment of the bones and discs as well as structural strength and efficiency. At Network Wellness Center, we are passionately dedicated to providing our members with the very best care and use all of the latest technological means at our disposal to do so. If you are looking for the most modern, effective, and leading chiropractors Boulder can offer, then you need to give the chiropractic specialists at Network Wellness Center a call. Don’t delay! Your road to better health starts with us.

After your evaluation, you’ll be scheduled for a conference with the doctor to review your results. At this visit you and the doctor will discuss how you can achieve the optimal health you desire in your life, how care will proceed when you should decide to work with the Network Wellness Center office and practitioners.

You’ll receive provide both a verbal and a written review of your results and an overview of your possible solutions so you can make the best decision for your health and well-being.
